How do I dilute bee pitch with alcohol? The first step is to know the concentration of the solution you want. The most common solutions are 5 % and 10 % propolis. Thus, a 10 % solution requires 900 g of alcohol for 100 g of propolis, while a 5 % solution requires 1900 g of alcohol for the same amount of propolis.
Preparation:
- Put the propolis and spirit in a glass container and stir well. The proportions are given above. It is best to use 70 % strength medicinal spirit. Stronger spirits can be diluted with water.
- Place the container in a warm, dark place and stir at least a couple of times a day. The mixture can be stored in this way for at least a week.

2. How to prepare bee pitch extract in water
Vandeninis bičių pikio ekstraktas, mokslininkų teigimu, turi net didesnes antibakterines ir fungicidines savybes, nei etanolinis. Dėl šių savybių bičių pikis taip pat gana dažnai minimas tarp natūralių priemonių, galinčių padėti esant refliuksui.

- After the pitch has been well crushed, pour 1:9 water over it. It can be boiled or kept in an airtight container for several days.
- Then strain and store in a dark place.
3. How to prepare bee pitch extract in oil
The oil solution of bee pitch is less irritating to mucous membranes and is very suitable for use in the nose or on wounds.
Preparation:
- Heat the bee pitch together with the desired natural oil (coconut, rapeseed, sunflower, almond...) in a water bath, stirring slowly. Ratio 1:20 or 1:10.
- Heating up to 50 0C at room temperature for no more than 10 minutes or until the propolis has completely dissolved.
- We filter out various sediments.
- Store in a dark place or dark packaging.

Slide, of course it's better than taking nothing 🙂 but the properties of bee pitch are best absorbed in a 70 % strength spirit. Dilute the spirit to 70 % with boiled or distilled water

Hi, I have made a decoction of 70g of 70% alcohol/30g of pitch. How to use it for stomach troubles more precisely, for better effect? Because somewhere it says to drop 20-40 drops in a glass of water/tea/milk and drink 30-60mins before meals, somewhere else to take it pure, 1 teaspoon 30-60mins before meals? Thank you.

Know that either way is fine 🙂 First, see how your stomach reacts. If your stomach has major problems, it may be difficult/painful to take a teaspoon in the morning. Drip it into water, it will be less concentrated and have the same effect 🙂

Keep it in a dark place, out of the sunlight, and it will be fine 🙂 I don't recommend flavouring it with honey, and especially not heating honey. Try flavouring with herbs instead
